Dragon Dorado represents a fascinating chapter of Venezuelan culinary history. Chinese immigrants have been part of Margarita Island's culture since the early 20th century, and their cooking has blended beautifully with local ingredients and tastes to create a uniquely Venezuelan-Chinese cuisine.

Owned by the Wong family for three generations, Dragon Dorado serves massive portions of arroz frito (fried rice) loaded with fresh local shrimp, chop suey made with Caribbean vegetables, and their famous lumpia rolls stuffed with shark and plantain — a combination you won't find anywhere else on Earth.
