Boutique Hotel San Nicolas is a love letter to Porlamar's colonial heritage. This beautifully restored 19th-century mansion sits just steps from the historic Iglesia San Nicolas de Bari, in the heart of the old city center. Every detail of the restoration has been handled with care, preserving the original terracotta tile floors, wrought-iron balconies, and soaring ceilinged rooms while adding contemporary comforts.

Each of the eight rooms is uniquely designed and named after significant figures in Margarita Island's history. Room "Luisa Caceres" features a four-poster bed and French doors opening onto a private balcony overlooking the church plaza. Room "Santiago Marino" boasts exposed stone walls and a copper rainfall shower.

The rooftop terrace is the hotel's secret weapon — a breezy, plant-filled space with comfortable lounge seating where guests gather for the complimentary sunset cocktail hour.
